Tap got a new home page today. After a long silence, I’ve got two things I want share about Tap. First, I have a better idea about what Tap is, hopefully the homepage conveys that. Second, with this more clear understanding, I plan to illustrate Tap’s utility by using it for work on another of Santa’s projects: Hedgerider Farm.
During this new period of experimentation and development I’m going to pause new signups. There aren’t many people using Tap right now, and I’d like to take advantage of the low administrative overhead to focus on development.
The farm is a small slice of Earth in Western Maryland where we grow willow for basket material and raise geese for meat. Throughout our agricultural explorations Tap has been a constant companion, keeping track of planting observations, egg production, research and organizing random projects that pop up every now and then.
Tap is not always the right fit, but like everything else around the farm — it’s growing. I’m looking forward to sharing occasional updates about our new ventures. And if you’re interested in more exclusively farm-related info, we publish a newsletter through substack.
